“It is not living that matters, but living rightly. The greatest way to live with honor in this world is to be what we pretend to be. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”

-Socrates

Our Goal:

Create a platform for American youth of Ethiopian heritage , where there is place to build friendship and network where issues that arise during middle school, high school, College and beyond are addressed through leadership training , mentoring, entrepreneurship.

Discussion on issues like heritage , self-esteem, self-confidence, physical, emotional and mental health, by organizing events and inviting young experts as well as high schools, mentoring the middle schools, college kids mentoring the high schoolers and the young beyond college professional mentoring the kids in college.

“High school is social Darwinism at its worst. People tear each other apart to be the surviving fittest, you can be put down because of your size, color, rich or poor, the list goes on.”

“It is difficult for most kids to be themselves, an individual with his own ideas, thought and personality. It has become a place where you are pushed to be part of the crowd if not then are marginalized. To be part of the in-group, you become whatever the bully decided you need to be, then you discover these kids that you force yourself to be like, don’t really have your back.”
